Welcome to May’s Editor’s Letter! As you may have guessed this month’s theme is dedicated to Mother’s. Whether or not you’re a mother yourself, I think you will be able to find a lot of relatable and inspiring content.
May has always been one of my favorite months, not only because we get to celebrate the ones we love but because its the middle of my favorite season. A season the breathes new life into the world, and in a way, it’s breathing new life into our life in quarantine. I’ve been looking forward to the warmer days where I can spend more time in the backyard, listening to the birds and opening the windows of our home.
Now more then ever my mood is pertinent to the weather. If its raining and cold I feel miserable and morose, and the opposite if it’s sunny and warm.

I’ve been spending a lot more time on Pinterest lately. Personally, it’s the reason why I’ve been able to keep the momentum going on the blog, and it’s become a steady source of inspiration for my designs.

Listening to: Bad on Paper podcast is one I really enjoy listening to right now, and where I get most of my book recommendations from.
The Goop podcast has had some really great content lately, and I really enjoyed the episode on Does Everything Happy for a Reason.
Watching: I was so inspired by the Apple + show called Home that I wrote this post because of it, and I highly recommend you watch it.
Reading: I just finished The Light we Lost and it’s one of the best books I have read in years. It was so good that last night I stayed up until 2 am finishing it and I can’t get the characters or the story out of my head.
The next book I’m reading is Untamed by Glennon Doyle. I’ve heard from a lot of people it’s another really good one.

In this edition of the editor’s letter, we’re sharing some of our favourite posts to revisit this month.
This month reminds me about a few posts I wrote earlier this year. My experience with prenatal depression and the story of how I becoming a mother was a deeply personal essay I hope will find it’s way to someone who needs it right now.
I’ve learned there is a difference between finding the time and making the time to workout. It’s how I’ve been able to prioritize fitness in my life, because we’re at a point where there is no time extra time for anything lately.
