The Ultimate Glow Duo from Sephora

how to get a healthy glow and review of Nars liquid blush and Mac Strobe Cream.

As you may have seen I ended up buying myself a ton of new beauty products during the Sephora VIB sale. I wanted some new products because I haven’t tried anything new in a long time.

The products I’m reviewing today are Nars Liquid Blush in Orgasm and MAC’s Strobe Cream in Pinklite.

I’m hoping I can learn how to get a healthy glow without leaving home. I want that radient, glowing skin that I get after I go jogging on a sunny day or when I’m laying on beach somewhere.

MAC Strobe Cream Review

First up is Mac’s strobe cream in pink lite which is a moisturizing product that boosts the look of dull, tired-looking skin. It contains green tea and vitamins that are used to brighten and clarify. Its basically a super hydrating cream with shimmer.

I have a medium olive complexion and I do pull a lot of red in my skin. I could see a bit of the pink undertones from the colour I choose that made my skin look a little washed out. If I had to choose another colour it would defiantly be the goldlite.

I did notice that the cream had a bit of smell to it, a good one but a little strong. The smell did go away after a few seconds, and just something to be aware of.

There are several ways you can use this product on your tired or dull-looking skin. You can use it as a moisturizer to wake up your skin and give it a healthy-looking glow without foundation. You can also use it like I did, as a primer under your foundation or even as a highlighter.

The best thing about this product is the way it melts into your skin giving it a healthy iridescent glow. I also liked that it doesn’t sit on top of any dry patches and provides moisture that lasts. It makes for a very healthy and natural glow that can be used daily.

My honest review is that I will definitely be purchasing the full-size product, just I will be getting the color “Goldlite” this time.

Nars Liquid Blush in Orgasm Review

I have been a fan of liquid blush for a long time. It was only recently that I decided to switch to a new brand. I went with Nars liquid blush in Orgasm which came highly recommended by you girls.

My first impression was the pink blush could easily suit a wide range of skin tones. It was lightweight and moisturizing without being sticky and it was also very blendable.

I pumped some of the product on the back of my hand and used the wide part of a damp beauty blender to apply it to the apple of my cheeks. You could also use your fingertips to apply it, I just found the beauty blender was less messy. I used the liquid blush on top of my foundation, but you could also apply it on your bare skin. Just be sure to use sparingly as it is really pigmented and can easily go on too heavy.

The color lasts all day without budging or the need to re-apply. It truly is a fool-proof application and I love how easy it is to make my makeup look natural while still making my skin look healthy.

My final review is that its a product that I will be using all the time.

How to use both products for a healthy glow

The one thing these two products have in common is that they are both used to give dull-looking skin a healthy and radiant glow. If your skin is looking a little tired and dull like mine is, then these products would be perfect for you. The way I’ve been giving myself a healthy glow is by using Mac Strobe Cream after I do my morning skincare routine. I follow with Nars Liquid Blush, fill in my eyebrows, add mascara and I’m done!

Now, I hope everyone can learn how to get a healthy glow without leaving home. It’s changed the way I get ready in the mornings and I’m happy I ended up purchasing these two products.
