Grown Alchemist Hand Cream Breakdown

The Pros
  • The hand cream smells amazing
  • Non-greasy
  • – ingredients
  • Absorbs quickly into skin
The Cons
  • No SPF protection

I’ve always struggled with dry hands because of seasonal changes but especially during the winter months. I noticed between washing my hands often and of course, using hand sanitizer and even washing dishes that my dry hands have become a common strife. It’s even become an inside joke between me and my husband. He has literally said more than once, that my hands feel like sandpaper.

Admittedly, that was my signal to finally do something about it.

One thing I noticed was that the habit of applying hand cream regularly has made a huge difference in the shape of my hands. But true results were seen when I included the nourishing hand cream from Grown Alchemist in that routine. Which is why the product has evidently become my latest go-to. I now have a hand cream within reach at all times, there’s one in my purse, beside my bed, and even in the car.

Which by the way is a great tip for anyone struggling with dry hands, especially in the winter. Put a hand cream in your car!

Grown Alcemist Hand Cream 65ml

Grown Alchemist Hand Cream

Grown Alchemist is an Australian brand that is notorious for its chic packaging, and all-natural products. While it’s clean skincare formulas are all backed by science, it’s the minimalistic style and aesthetic photos across social media that originally sparked my interest.

I decided to test out products, with an intention to report back. Of course, I was blown away by the quality, smell and ultra pure ingredients.

But the hand cream itself is a real winner. As I said, I always keep at least one close by at all times because it’s that good.

The non-greasy, moisturizing formula is packed with botanical extracts that naturally softens and sooth dry hands and cuticles. Especailly for hands that are in need of a little more hydration, and TLC (like mine).

But one of my favourite things about Grown Alchemist’s rejuvinating hand cream is it’s ability to nourish, repair and restore dry, chapped hands. Over the past few weeks I’ve been using the rejuvinating hand cream quite liberally, and I’ve noticed a big change in the hydration of my hands. I apply less and less each time, even though my habits and obligations have remained the same.

Grown Alcemist 500ml

My hands don’t feel like sandpaper anymore, if you were wondering. Which amazes me because I’ve tried tons of drugstore products, creams and lotions. And I’ve come to the conclusion that the issue in a lot of other products is the use synthetic, filler-ingredients. The ingredients that do nothing for the skin, instead of absorbing these filler products lay on top.

Grown Alchemist Hand Cream Trio Gift Set

I actually bought the Grown Alchemist Hand Cream Trio Gift Set so I could test all three. The full-size set comes with the Grown Alchemist Vanilla Orange Hand Cream, Soothing Hand Cream and Intensive Hand Cream. Did we mention it would make a wonderful gift or even give you an easy way to have access to one at all times.

So what are the differences in products?

Grown alcemist vanilla orange hand cream

This is a light, airy smelling hand cream that is non-greasy and is perfect for daily use. Which is why it’s the one I keep in my bag. You never know when you might need a little dose of moisture for your hands and skin.

Grown Alchemist Soothing Hand Cream

The soothing hand cream is perfect for keeping in your car. I like that it actually makes my dry hands feel better, and instantly moisturized.

Grown Alchemist Intensive Hand Cream

I keep this one beside my best. I prefer to use the thicker cream at night so I can give the product time to work without washing it off right away.

How do you apply the hand cream product?

It’s like other hand creams, you use around a dime size amount and rub the product into the skin until it’s absorbed.

What are the ingredients?

Tamanu Oil, Argan extract that contains Omega’s 3-6-7 and Vitamin A, and Persian Rose. Hyaluronic Acid allows for maximum hydration while Tocophereol (Vitamin E and Polysphenols) grapeseed and pomegranate oil fight off antioxidents. Ultimately allowing your skin to repair, nourish and sooth, dry, damaged skin.

So, do I think you should buy Grown Alchemist Hand Cream?

It’s defiantly a must in my skincare routine. What originally sparked my interest for being aesthetic, Grown Alchemist hand cream has proven there is a lot of power in science-backed clean ingredients. Which is especially apparent in healing and rejuvination of delicate skin and hands.
